About this Job

As a Customer Support Specialist at Errands365, you will be the frontline voice of our company, assisting clients with inquiries, booking errands, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for our on-demand errand services across Kenya. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats in a fast-paced environment, while promoting our services and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat regarding errand services, bookings, and general information.
  • Book and coordinate errands such as pickups, deliveries, shopping, and administrative tasks based on client needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Upsell additional services and provide recommendations to enhance client experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, transactions, and feedback in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with errand agents and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Stay updated on company services, policies, and promotions to provide informed support.
  • Diploma or BSc in any field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent listening abilities.
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili or other local languages is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High level of empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote or hybrid setups (if applicable).
